Niu Cemetery in Lijiang

The Niu Cemetery is on a wooded hill 7 miles south-southeast of Lijiang Ancient Town. To get there one should drive on the main highway toward the airport and take a winding side road up the hill to the east, then off of a paved road onto a dirt road. The graves are 150 feet to the northwest of the dirt road. These graves were moved in 2009 from the original old Niu cemetery northwest of Lijiang. The first 5 generations remain in the old cemetery; generations six, seven, and eight were moved to this location. In addition to the graves, there is a stone picnic table a few feet away, and other clusters of graves nearby.

Three views of the Niu Cemetery. There are three rows of graves with, from top to bottom, one, three, and four graves in the rows.
The following photos were taken in October 2016, and show all of the grave markers.
